Fake Pastors and Preachers

Updated: Jan 28, 2019

I know, I know. This is not the first time you have heard me warn leaders against manipulation and taking advantage of people in church. Well trust me when I tell ya, its not the last time either. Clearly it's something that I am passionate about. The idea that there are wolves in sheep clothing who prefer fame over the assignment of caring for God's people irritates me to know end!

I LOVE the church, and God loves His church as well. Often times it's the "fake" churches that give the real churches a bad name. Not every pastor is seeking to manipulate people. There are more pastors preacher and leaders doing good than bad. It's hard to tell sometimes because all you see highlighted in media, movies and gossip blogs are the same type of narrative that degrades the body of Christ and rips His church into shreds.

Is that narrative always wrong? No. I have experienced that type of foolishness in the church first hand, second hand and third hand. However, I have also experienced churches where pastors and leaders thrive by pushing their congregation to new heights spiritually and naturally. Where prayer is in abundance and love is overflowing.

To be clear, God is making a clear distinction in the body of Christ. I taught a sermon on this about six months ago and it's still so heavy in my spirit now. God is separating the wheat from the tare. He is making His approval known.

Here is a quick warning video I posted asking all fake pastors and leaders to repent and turn back to God.
